Jewelry Madness!!!!

I am really excited!  I have always loved making jewelry and have pretty steady sales at my mom's art gallery.  I've been making jewelry for almost 11 years and am fairly good at what I do.  I won't say my jewelry is particularly difficult to make, but then again, it just comes naturally to me and my jewelry is very high quality.  I think the hardest part is finding the right combinations of shapes and colors.  Anyway, I enjoy it and it has always brought me a steady supplement to my income.  This month all of a sudden I had a increase in my sales at the gallery.  At the same time, the bead shop in my town has sadly decided to close.  Although I will greatly miss The Bead Cafe, I was able to take advantage of the deeply discounted beads.  I was wishing I had a little more extra money to buy more, but times are tight for us, especially with vacation about a month away, so I bought what I could.  The store closed officially on Saturday.  My mom kept saying I should call and see if they still have anything left and what are they doing with it.  I kind of hemmed and hawed afraid it was being a little too pushy.  So, my mom called for me today.  All of the bead strands were sold, but the loose beads were all still available.  They have all the loose beads on a table and in little boxes.  I've always loved buying the loose beads because it gave me a bigger variety without buying a whole strand.  We bought the all of the semi-precious beads!!!  I also got some cool pendants and silk cord to knot pearls with.  OK, I am sure this isn't half as exciting to you as it is to me, but this was such a great opportunity for me!  And it couldn't have come at a better time, I was just thinking about finally expanding and selling at another gallery somewhere else.  I just feel like this is all a sign that maybe I should venture into a wider demographic and make my hobby into something with a bit more substance.  I made a bunch of really awesome necklace/ earring combos this weekend!  It's going to be so much fun to have n even bigger variety of beads I'll have to choose from (truth be told, I have a pretty amazing collection of beads already)!!!
When I get a chance, I will post some pictures of my new jewelry!!!
